Rekordbox screwing up the analyzed BPM

I hope I can describe this correctly. Rekordbox (4.3.1) analyses all of my music, and when I play tracks, I can beat-align them either manually or with SYNC. However, for some tracks Rek' believes their BPM changes radically within the song. For instance: House track is 125 bpm throughout but Rek' shifts the bpm to 150 for no apparent reason. Either one track slows down or the other speeds up to "match." And what's really messed up? I just tried to recreate the problem with a track I know has screwed up in the past, and it won't do it.

I'd love to see a video of that - can you record one?

I have the same issue with DnB music for instance. Right before the drop the track BPM slows down and since I'm using Sync most of the time, the other track ALSO slows down during that break! Pretty annoying!

@Gaetan > I play a lot of D&B and as long as you make sure the analysis is set correctly, the tracks will be analysed in a constant tempo and there will be no changes mid-track.

I've probably got over 2000 D&B racks in my collection and the only time I ever have a problem is if I've forgotten to change the range back from when I'm importing my Top40 music (where I use the 78-155 range).

Hmm. I see. But I think it's pretty inconvenient to change the range all the time. With Traktor Pro, you just click the Analyze button and everything works great! Perfect BPM, beatgrids, everything! Why so many options with Rekordbox???

Higher accuracy within those ranges. I know it's not optimal, but if you find a track isn't analysing accurately within one range, try another, more narrow range.

@pioneer but i feel this is a bit inconvenient if a track original bpm is 70 and I've had a lot of those in my library for a while and now if i drop it in rekordbox in I don't know which analysis and it comes out 140 bpm then i have to start trying different things and see how can I get it closer to what it should be, thats a great time wasted, not to mention with the new track analysis mood other geners such as the ones we have in the Mideast its coming out on a crazy bpm such 170s I dj for a radio station and that has just created so much problems for me... Any solutions please?? or should I just go back to an older version on rekordbox say 4.0 for example?

Sorry, in order for the track analysis to be the most accurate possible, a narrow range is used. If you feel you have some in the 140 range which should be in the 70's, select them and re-analyse with the lower range selected (which does not cover 130+).

I found the same issue regarding Rekordbox BPM analysis.  New to Rekordbox I've attempted to analyze all of my music one at a time. I've left the BPM range at whatever was set at default and found songs that seemed to not make BPM sense to what was analyzed. I researched and did a BPM look up and found Rekordbox was way off.  I then found this post and attempted to make adjustments as suggested and narrow my BPM range to be more accurate and I got a different and incorrect result. I then selected another BPM range to analyze again and I got another inaccurate BPM result. The song I'm referring to is NAS - The World is Yours

I get the following results:

Set BPM Range /BPM results
70-180 131.04
48-95 65.52
58-115 65.52
68-135 131.04
78-155 131.04

Please provide a more through guide or possibly correct this issue with a firmware update.

Sorry, I don't see how the software is wrong; it was consistently showing the correct BPM when the BPM range was low enough for the actual 65.52 BPM, and when it wasn't low enough, it reflected a perfect doubling of 131.04 each time.
