Problem with DDJ-RZX/rekordbox on new laptop Asus ROG GL553VD

Hello!

When I bought a DDJ-RZX i had only 4gigs of RAM in my old laptop and it works good but slowly (so didnt have 100% fun while playing :/ ) without any bigger problems... So I decided to take ASUS GL553VD and everything is fine but after a while the RB software starting to something like reseting/minimizing and maximizing what is causing DDJ-RZX's to lag and i cant do anything (only sound is still playing) and after a few second screen just resets and you can play again... And again after some time the problem is the same but with new other... While playing sound is instantly changing into horrible buzz and only way get out of it is to turn off and on a console and restart software... but after 1hour/2hours or 4 hours it happens again... 

 

I tried to format the system on a Asus laptop but after few days the problem comes back... :(

Im very sad cause buying a controller for about 3000$ i though that i would not have problems like this... 

 

Please help me, its starting to really pisses me off...

That has nothing to do with the laptop. The same I have here with my imac i5 and with my new macbook pro i7. 

Until the RZX runs properly it still needs some firmware updates! And I would have known, then I would have remained with my denon mcx8000 and serato dj and would have me for the 3000 € plus 3000 € for the new mac something clever bought!

i also had similar problems and i also have an Asus ROG (GL752VW-GS71-HID7).

However, after help from Support it is now working perfectly.

Here is the reply i received from Support - see if it helps you?

 

We recently released a new version of rekordbox v4.3.1 that does improve the stability of rekordbox and rekordbox video.  Please can you open rekordbox and let the update manager take control.
In the Preferences of rekordbox navigate to the Video panel. Please select the Frame Quality as Middle.

In the Preferences of rekordbox navigate to the Audio panel. Please set the Buffer Size at 512 samples.

Again please just check that you've got the latest firmware and driver installed.

Just so you're aware the problems you're experiencing are because of the hardware demands and not the software.

If the software is crashing please can you send over your crash logs?
