Hot cues issue - quantize problem, service denied help/repair

Did you try turning off quantize like the shop suggested? 

When I turn it off, it works, but what is the quantize function for? To match the beats to sound professional and exact (when I press it earlier, later).

I want to use the quantize function without bugs like this.

Sometimes the hot cue acted like the play button after the pressing (hot cue right next to play button)... it has many bugs. I expected quality and reliability from the Pioneer brand... not the turn the functions off because the sw sucks

Sounds like it working as expected. Quantize is designed to jump to the nearest beat so that everything is kept on beat. It's very handy when you want to mix tracks and loop quickly. It's not great if you want to bash on the hot cue and create a drum roll effect

-sync only blinks and doesnt sync

-> this happens when sync is engaged and the jog wheel is moved. This grids of the two tracks are then no longer aligned but the BPM's still match.

-there are 2 masters when syncing (shouldnt be only 1?)

-> haven't seen that myself.

-usb everytime flashes (in the manual stands - it shouldnt flash) - tried 5 usb's

-> it's supposed to flash when the XDJ is communicating with the USB stick

thanx for answers but I am not very happy about this product. I wanna have my quantize on and do everything what it is for. I am pressing the hot cues right on the beat and the sound is going 1-2second delay? As i wrote- I have a home studio and we recorded video 4-5x times because it failed when I pressed the hot cue. 

Sync is not good either (2 masters flashing etc) but that hot cues are the biggest issue for me. NEXUS 2000's dont have this issue

+the effects sometimes dont work properly - there is little delay with auto beat looping. But as I wrote this doesnt happen everytime. I will record it soon

It's possible that your beat grids are off.  Please post a screenshot of the beat grid of a track that you are having problems with.

if quantize is on, you might have to trigger your hotcue just before the beat/point where you want it to start, then the quantize function will start it in the right place. The delay you are experiencing might be the quantize function dropping your hotcue on the next available beat because it missed the first one - it's not a function I use, but give it a try

I would like to request PIONEER OFFICIAL to GIVE A STATEMENT FOR MY RETAILER FOR FIXING OR REPLACING THIS PRODUCT !

I am worried to use this console in front of live audience because this happened many times.

It happens on both decks random and tried different USBs. Even the sync doesnt work properly. All I want is service care from my Pioneer service in Slovakia, not just "Dont use quantize" solution

I understand, and certainly, I could see how a standard hardware test might have passed but I see the problem you're having is quite random - the video does help illustrate it.

I'm going to pass this up to our product team and see if they have any recommendations.

Ok, so what is the solution? I waited 29days for our cool Pioneer service in Slovakia to get the statement on my problem: You should turn the quantize off.

Then (after video posted) you tell me, it is the hardware problem. I hoped Pioneer as a leader (world standard setup in every club) will make this out.

How long should I wait after 1 year of using this unstable DJ system at my home to use it in public without my hot cues problems?

TODAY I was on a gig and the CUES didnt work!! On both decks!!
And You just keep on asking me stup1d questions. I thought Pioneer as a DJ leader would have solve my problem...

All i wanted was giving ME THE DAmN STATEMENT TO MY SERVICE TO REPAIR OR REPLACE THE PRODUCT!!! Should I upload another video? Hope I will sell this peace of *rap in few days!!! This is not a help forum, I am very dissapointed and hope Denon will open your eyes soon…

Actually, the questions Pulse posted was forwarded from XDJ-RX engineers. Any technical issues may not be solved without customers' cooperation who provide all the information engineers would like to collect for replication of the issues.

They may not find root causes if you do not provide the answers for the questions.
