Whenever I play out, I use Rekordbox DJ with HID mode in CDJs since all my music is in ALAC format.
This weekend I´m invited to play a B2B set in a booth with NXS 2000 players. My friend uses USBs while I, as previously mentioned, use Rekordbox DJ.
Question: how can I perform B2B under these conditions? Is it only a question of just pressing the Rekordbox / USB button for switching inputs? Does this remember my initial configuration of decks / sound card / etc?

You can switch sources on the CDJ and yes, it will remember your connection - nothing disconnects from a CDJ-2000NXS when you switch input sources.
As of rekordbox 5 (currently in public beta), you can connect the USB stick directly to the computer and it could be used as a source for tracks within performance mode.
