Hope you guys are well.
Im having serious issues with the DDJ RZX. I bought the machine and the dealer now will not take it back.
Let me explain why ... REKORDBOX is not reliable with this machine. Pioneer... please.. help us.. the owners of DDJ RZX.. its time you guys look into our problems.
I am using a Core i7 quad core.. 2.8GHZ 16GB Ram.. NVidia GTX1080. I invested in a bigger machine.. costed me about a whooping 2200 Dollars!! and you know why because the core i5 had did not do the job.
Rekordbox crashes.. Hangs... latency issues.. why make me spend money to buy a pioneer machine that keeps giving me problems. Lets start by saying that the laptop i have has no other softwares apart from rekordbox. why pioneer.. why... you have such an amazing reputation then why don't you look at our problems and solve them. Do a google search for heavens sake.. you'll find enough people with this problems... im not a rich kid.. it took savings to buy this machine. Respect that at the least.
I tried the Beta 5.0 version.. still nothing. Pioneer... answer this if you can... will you help us or should i consider my 3000 dollars for the equipment a waste of my hard earnings and lock it up in the attic.. and save to buy equipment from another company.
If rekordbix is not working right now then at least give us updates and we work with serato... we will buy those licences from them. you dont even have to give us the keys.. Give us choices at least if not reliability.
Please do understand that I am not being rude but I've reached the climax of my frustration everytime I start working with the DDJ RZX.

What firmware are you running on the RZX? I have the occasional issue with a lockup, but that might be after 10 solid hours. Rekorbox 5 Beta 5 is running really well. There are a few things not mapped properly, but it's Beta..

If you have problem on rekordbox. You can change setting show all hidden file and folder after you go to Windows > User > your user > App Data > Roaming > Pioneer > Rekordbox. Search File " rekordbox3 " setting file and open with notepad.
After you file <VALUE name="DisableOpenGL" val="1"/>
and change number 1 to 0 save.
All Well Done. It's working. Have fun.

Hi mate. I have problem with that equipment too, the store where i bought the DDJRZX was unhelpfully too,I did show them a video that my equipment have issue and they return it to pioneer but pioneer took more them 4 week to give me a response, so i use Customer Affair Australia so if your equipment doesn't work as you buy for you may be able to take action against who made it and in my case it does. so don't waste your time use the right company to take your money back. P.S. Buy a Nexus 2000 they are ok. good luck.

I've had the RZX for about 4 months now and I can clearly state they have not fixed the issue. It's been almost since day 1 and they refuse to address that their software can't handle their equipment. In our emails, all they have done is copy and paste multiple emails over and over again, trying to tell me it is a new solution to potentially fix the problem. Personally I'd recommend the Denon Prime 4, a standalone 4 channel controller. Pioneer should have had something like this a long time ago, even perhaps the RZX should've been standalone with its own hardware and usb flashdrive ports. I doubt we would have this problem.
