performance pads on the DDJ SP1 Lock

When im using my DDJ SP1 sometimes i accidentally hit a non assigned 

pad and accidentally make a hotque. so my question is:

is it possible to lock this? like the cdj2000 you first have to hit rec, and than assign the button.

Maybe like hold shift and then you can assign what you like.

No, that would defeat the purpose of being able to quickly store and recall a hotcue in a performance situation. If you want to remove it, press the shift button + that pad.

Honestly, not many people like the CDJ method of having to toggle into the REC mode, which was why it was removed on the newer units.
