CDJ2000 Nxs2 avoid restarting loop when pressing loop cutter

Does anybody know if it’s possible to avoid an active loop to restart from the start point when cutting the loop in half with the loop cutter button? Same question for extending it, or when pushing any of the loop size buttons on the touch screen? This would make my life much easier. I have seen tutorials where this’restart’ isn’t triggered so it must be possible.

You can press the loop in I think twice Than with the jog wheel you can adjust loop from the in point

Hi thanks for your reply.
I’m not trying to adjust the start position though.
What I want to achieve is that if it push the loop cutter button, my active loop doesn’t jump to the start, and instead just remains playing the loop on the position where it was
