Regardless of where you're playing the audio from (source-wise), when using the XDJ-RX, DDJ-RX or DDJ-RB, there is a channel meter / master meter to be able to see what your signal levels are. Use the channel gain (on the hardware) to ensure that the channel levels are peaking at or around 0dB - typically around the 9-10 o'clock position, depending on the song. I like using the first orange LED as the peak level for visual-ease of seeing when it's at the right level. Then, with the channel fader open full and the crossfader to that side (if assigned), adjust the master level so the master meter also shows the same peak levels. The master knob will be around the 2- 3 o'clock position. This should give you a nominal output level from the master outputs.
