Echo fade out xdj-rx2

Hi, finally I bought an xdj-rx2!

I will ask many questions in the forthcoming days/months, but here I ask the first one:

Before buying the rx2, I read a lot of forums and watched many videos. Not only about the rx2, but also on different pioneer mixers. I really thought that the echo effect could be heard for an indefinite amount of time, when the Level/Depth knob of the beat effects was turned to its maximum level (as it happens for the spiral, and also for the dub echo when the parameter and the color fx knob are turned into the maximum positions). However, the echo effect seems to fade out quite quickly (specially when it is configured for small fractions of a beat).

Am I missing something? Is there an option or some way to make the echo sound for a larger amount of time, or indefinitely? If not, will it be possible in new firmware updates?
