I need your help on this serious problem. I have this equipment for some years now. I have the latest update file installed. Every few gigs, it shows my the following problem:
1. i connect the r1 with my macbook pro and i open the virtualdj pro edtion
2. im djing normally (lots of nights with no problem at all
3.some nights, while im playing a song on the left (or right deck), the other deck STOPS RESPONDING. Its like im loosing the connection between VDJ and XDJR1. the song that im already playing is on the air normally, but i cannot play the song of the other deck. WHATEVER button i push on XDJR1 the virtualdj DO NOT RESPOND.
4. for saving my ass, i just continue my gig using the cd slots of the xdjr1 till i restart my mac. when i restart the mac, everything working properly again.
5. PLEASE NOTICE that whenever i use the same mac with the same vdj programm with my controller pioneer ddjsb1 and ddjsb2, I HAVE NO PROBLEM AT ALL, so its obvioulsy a problem with XDJR1
6. please help me because im in a very difficult situation here...

Have you tried using a different USB cable / USB port to eliminate the possibility of a communication issue?
First of all thanks for the prompt reply
1. Yes, I tried 2 cables. It doesn’t make any difference. Please have in mind that I use the same cables connecting my ddjsb1 and ddjsb2 controllers in my Mac, and I never had any problem
2. I suppose you mean the USB port on my Mac, since the xdjr1 has only one usb port. If that is what you mean (the USB port of my Mac), I’m sure that this can’t be the problem since I use this USB port connecting my 2 other controllers (sb controllers) and I never ever had any problems
