What version of rekordbox are you using and how are you updating the device (provide step-by-step info)?

[OPEN] Updating 1 or 2 trax on a playlist in USB doesn't work
I find it frustrating that if I make a change to a track (ie change the mastering) then re-export the playlist to USB, the track doesn't get updated.
If I remove the track from the USB, then re-export the playlist, the track doesn’t get exported. It seems like RB is only checking the list of tracks on the playlist match.
The only way to get around this it to delete the playlist from USB and then re-export. Much annoying especially if you are in a hurry.
It would be more useful if it checked for the file existing and the date & time stamp.

Export Playlist --> to USB
If the file doesn't get updated, I have to delete the file from USB, delete the playlist & tracks from the USB via RekordBox then export the playlist again.
