2 x USB drives for CDJ's ?

I am wanting to use USB from now on in clubs and to categorise my music through Rekordbox with beat-gridding etc on that program,

My only problem is that I sometimes use 1000mk3 decks depending on the club, so I believe there is NO usb on these? so i'd have to still have CD?

Secondly on most of the clubs that i play at and they have CDJ2000 and above, could I use 2 x USB sticks (1 cloned identical) to stick a USB in each of the decks (sometimes these aren't linked!) and just get each deck to read its 'own' USB? (never thought of this before now for some daft reason!)

Or if i used a SD card, a 1000mk2 or mk3 would read this too?

What are the benefits of USB stick or SD card?

Thanks

Yeah... CDJ2000's can each read it's own USB or can be cross-linked, this also works for SD cards.

1000MK3's only fetch hotcue information and stuff like that from the SD card, music cannot be stored on them for the purpose of being read by the CDJ.

Hey,

SD card could be faster when you transform data to it. And you put your card in the 2000, and you don't see it (I like that) A USB is in the slot and you see a ugly stick in you 2000.

What Sammy also says, the 1000's can only read hot cue/cue points from a sd card.
