Which version of Android are you running on your device?
Hi all, i'am unable to make Rekordbox for android working with new Pioneer XDJ-RX...connected via USB, can't work like IOS version.
Maybe i need an access point to go through wireless? Can't android go by USB? Thanks!!

Q: Some Android smartphones do not recognize XDJ-RX (E-8307)
A: When some types of Android smartphones are connected to XDJ-RX using a USB cable, a caution [E-8307 UNSUPPORTED DEVICE] may appear on XDJ-RX, which may not be properly recognized. When you use such Android smartphones, please use them through wireless connection.
Q: When an Android smartphone and the XDJ-RX are connected by USB cable, the smartphone is not recognized by the XDJ-RX.
A: This may be due to one of the following reasons:
Ok, Pulse, i try "MTP" mode...if won't go right i will buy a wireless access point.

Little O.T. Please don't forget to tell Pioneer's engineers to make "active deck lock" function on a future firmware, because in last version 1.60 it doesn't appear :-( ...most of XDJ-RX users need it. Thanks!!!!

these FAQs say "some android devices" is there any way to tell which are supported so I can stop wasting my time if mine is not. I have a Nexus 5x but regardless of MTP mode or not it is not being recognized.
