XDJ-R1 - problems with remotebox and midi control feature

I have a pair of CDJ900's and using the rekordbox software successfully for a few years now. All music is stored on a 250G portable hard drive. Total tracks analyzed on rekordbox is in the region of 8000 tracks. Space used on the HD is about 120G (some folders are not
This weekend I picked up the R1 and for some reason or the other, the R1 was not picking up the HD at all. So I tried to just transfer some music onto a 4G flash drive. It worked but when I tried to connect with REMOTEBOX, it was not reading the flash drive. Only the two (2) tracks that were playing at the time, picked up on the iPhone - i4. On a side note, the effects feature on the i4/ Remotebox, is just fantastic.
I then tried to hook the R1 to Virtual DJ LE. It worked but if a track was playing on channel A and I tried to select another track on channel B, it stopped the track on channel A. So basically it was only playing on one (1) channel. If I looked at VDJ LE screen, the pitch slide moved if I moved it on the R1.
I even tried to use the VDJ trail version, but still only played on one channel.
Please help!!!

Not sure exactly what the MIDI problem is you're having, would need a bit more info. As for the LE support, you may need a full version of VDJ to make changes.

Hi Pulse,
I will try my best to explain.
For starters, I am able to see all music stored on the laptop and able to maneuver using the "select/push" dial on the actual R1, for both decks A & B.
When I select a track for deck A, move the slide level up....I have sound output from deck A. When to go to deck B (slide all the way down/ off), find a track using the "select/ push" dial and depress it to select a song....it stops the track on deck A and immediately plays the selected track (from deck B) on the slide of deck A. No sound output from slide B.
This happens vice versa...not necessarily saying that slide on deck B is not working.
I am not able to play a track on deck A and listen to another track on the headphones for deck B, then mix like normal.
