[CLOSED] DDJ-SZ Jog Issue - Pioneer official solution ? check this please

WTF ?

They've identified there is a problem with the jog, what should I do with this information now?

Pioneer Israel says "we're waiting for pioneer europe solution"

Pioneer Europe says "contact your local dealer"

 

So, we know there's a problem. Who's gonna fix that ?

I guess contact where you purchased it and return it for another unit?

I hope they figure this out soon. I was planning to get one of these controllers around the end of the month but I may hold off now.

DONT BUY IT !!!

Ive already contacted Pioneer Israel- they said "we havent got any news from the world-wide Pioneers Customer Support"

It's really weird, because Pioneer Europe says "contact your local dealer and they'll know how to help ya"

Sorry you got stuck with that one. I would really take it back and make them give me a new one. I'm probably going to wait a number of months until they get all those units out or have a fix of the issue.

Hi all,

 

That's exactly the same situation in France: Pioneer Europe said : contact your reseller and my reseller said: "we are aware of this problem from Pioneer " but he hasn't got any information from Pionner France about the way to solve your issue "we cannot replace it or send your unit to SAV" and are waiting for futher information."

So what can we do (customers) ??? That's not a normal situation and nobody have any information to help us !

You contact Pioneer technical support for your country. They should now all be up to speed on what the process is for them to repair them. If the person you connect to doesn't know, ask if they can find a support person who does know.

Ok, i just called the repair station in France, "he said that, piece of replacement for the SZ are ordered" I will have to recall him on end of april to know if these pieces are in stock.

This is a joke. It's been almost 20 days since I "contacted" Pioneer support and in all that time all I received was an email saying that I would get another email with my shipping labels. That was 5 days ago.  I am sure this will get deleted because Pioneer doesn't want anything negative...shame on Pioneer for screwing over their customers.

I have called them several times. The last time I was given a Fed Ex return number over the phone, had to drive 90 minutes to the Fed Ex office only to find out that this number did not exist in their system. While I did talk to a highly placed individual at the center all I have been told is that a new set of Fed Ex labels will be sent out again in 2-3 days.  This escapade has been going on for almost three weeks.

Once again, I was told I was an exception to the process, but still...it's a bit much, especially when the $1800.00 plus I spent is not being used at all.

Users without the problem don't need to have the unit serviced. Those who do have the problem can contact their regional Pioneer office for repair. New units shipped to dealers should have the update applied.
