I'm not sure it's a Rekordbox issue now to be honest. I've been using the same Hard Drives on 2 different 900's where I work and everything's worked totally fine with them.
Narrowing it down to 850 firmware maybe....?
Hey all. I have the 850's updated to latest firmware and all my songs are analyzed in Rekordbox. My problem is that at least once a night during a 4 hour set I will be browsing through tracks and I will get an hourglass icon and it says wait. It does not go away and I must reboot the CDJ. I have used many different USB drives and it has happened with everyone I have ever used. Has anybody had this issue and will it be fixed in a firmware update?

For some reason my reply above has been deleted.
Just for the record, since running the 1.1.2. update AND Rekordbox 2.2.3, everything seems much more stable. I have had a couple of USB freezes but nowhere near as bad as it was before. i can now play from a Rekordbox playlist without having to constantly eject and reinsert the USB stick :)
Posting this as a follow-up in case anyone else finds this thread seeking an answer...
The issue seems to be isolated to Corsair brand USB drives. The data stream from the USB to the CDJ is corrupted and thus the CDJ freaks-out a little. The engineers don't feel a firmware update would be able to resolve the issue and recommend using a non-Corsair brand drive in future.
Nooooooope 100% not isolated to Corsair
Maybe it's just my 2 units. They've been updated to latest firmware though and are still slow
@Deccy > The reason that information was posted is the engineers tested the hardware noted and they found only Corsair drives to be problematic. Have you tried different utilities to format your drive(s) and have you also tested things with rekordbox 3.0?
I can also confirm that i have this issue using non-Corsair drives. I am using HP v220w USB sticks and have had this issue whilst running Rekordbox 3. Rekordbox 2.2.3 seemed to fix the issue but it is back again now.
In my case, i can get round this issue by restarting Rekordbox before each export but there are still issues sometimes.
Same Problem here with non-Corsair drives and also Playlists from iTunes.
I run the latest updates and firmware on my divices.
I have put my crashes on youtube: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9DGwLmuz-8A

I hope you can do a fix otherwise i have to sell my 850s...
And i tried my USBs on CDJ 900, CDJ 2000 and 2000nexus and on this CDJs they work fine...
@Carlo > Are the only songs that freeze ones purchased from Beatport?
