2000 Nexus - Won't cue on position

Is "quantize" on, it sounds like it's setting is based on the beat grid which may be off from where you want to set the point, therefore it will jump to the grid

then that's most likely the issue, turn off the quantize button and try, if it works properly then, and you want to use quantize, then either adjust the beatgrids properly OR shut off quantize quick for tracks you may want to set an off beat cue on

I can yurn quantize off set the cue point then switch it back on :)
