@Alex > Are you using it with software at the same time or with USB / CD media? It sounds like a hardware problem - I would encourage you to consider bringing the unit to a service centre.

[SOLVED] reverse not working properly with slip mode turned on
I just recently bought a brand new cdj 900 and whenever I use the reverse buttom with slip mode turned on, the slip mode light flashes and after a couple seconds the reverse button turns off on its own. I'd like to know why this is happenign and if there is anything I can do about it.

I used it with serato and with a regular cd and got the same result with both. I also spoke with a Pioneer DJ rep on the phone and he said that is is normal for reverse to turnn off on its own after a couple of seconds when used with slip mode. If you can confirm this that would be great, if not can you please tell me how to use the one year warranty I have?

It is normal behaviour for the reverse to auto-terminate after 8 beats due to the limitation in memory buffering capable by the player as it must still have the normal "slipped" audio buffered as well.
