Is this normal behavior?
Normally I use the browse function to select a next track, but I started using the track search buttons.
When using track search and selecting the next song, the hot cue's will not load, instead the previous active hot cue's are still active and when selected, the previous song will play.
Let's bet who will answer this question faster, Brichi or the (absent) Pioneer mods? :-)

yes, right now this is "normal" behavior, not sure if they will change this but if you load from the track search buttons OR from the "last 5 tracks played" list, the hot cues do not auto load
:-) Of course, there was no doubt in my mind...
If it is not a bug, what were they trying to achieve?
How would one use it?
I can see it being annoying if someone was just browsing through tracks using the track search buttons if they had to wait for the cues to load each time. A perfect example is some parties like Sweet 16's and Mitzvahs have candle lighting ceremonies and I have a playlist set and just hit track next to go to the next and at times I need it to load very fast and play so having the cues not load helped ONLY in that situation for me
