@Christopher > It sounds like there may be a hardware related issue with the CD mechanism. Do USB sticks perform as expected?

Seguir[SOLVED] E-8302 with perfect CDs
I recently bought a used CDJ-350. I thought that buying a more recent model would increase my chances of it all working properly, however it seems I've either been ripped off or extremely unlucky.
I tested it at the guys house, (albeit with a commercially pressed CD) and it all seemed to work fine.
However now when I try to skip tracks I get either E-8302 or E-8301. These errors occur both with commercially pressed CDs and CDs I have burnt myself, all in perfect condition. I get one of these errors about 80% of the time I try to play a CD.
When I have taken these CDs to venues they play absolutely fine on other units.
Also it will often pause during playback of a track, I then hear the CDJ struggling to read the CD and then it will sometimes continue playing or more often, show E-8302.
What should I do?
Thanks, Chris

Hi Gavin,
Yep USB sticks work perfectly so I am sure it is the CD mechanism.
Can this be repaired?
The CDJ is in very good condition otherwise and shows no sign of any wear.
Thanks
Chris
Do you have any idea what may have caused this?
@Christopher > Yes, it should be easily fixable. It sounds like the laser might have been knocked out of alignment or the pick up mechanism might have become damaged. A little knock could have caused this to occur. To contact an authorised repair centre please use the links in the column on the right >>
