[CLOSED] Some suggestions and the "famous" sorting bug (usb hdd) (2k's nexus)
My latest topic is closed, so i try my luck in this one..
When i go in to a playlist, i think the best would be to see the title of the mp3. I mean the archive title, and NOT the "artist" - **"title". **When i press the "info" button then i should see what ever i want there. And by that i mean we should get the option to add or remove some basic tags. For example, i want to have just the following: artist, title, bpm, key and time... I hate the comment tag and also the rating tag. No offense, someone else maybe hate the bpm tag.. That's why you should get that option..
I don't know how difficult or even possible is to get that kind of menu on the cdj's. I'm just suggesting things i know they would make my life easier..
Also guys what about to fix that damn thing with the sorting when using some usb hdd, or else usb source??? It still remains.... This bug is only on usb, when i connect my pc rekordbox through lan (djm2k) it doesn't exists.

I remember bro, i was there! Let's hope we get soon that update that fix this.. Have the mods pass this bug to the engineers that time?
Not sure, I certainly hope so, lol
Oh great, some new info for the engineers maybe: I just realized that this bug happens only in playlist who are in a folder.. For example:
"folder"
playlist 1
playlist 2
If someone have just some playlist and no folder, there is no sorting bug.
correct, only happens when using folders
What exactly is the sort bug?
Sadly I don't use my decks enough these days to notice some things, I've more or less given up on pioneer...
the sort bug is in the video I made below back in February. Pretty much if you sort by any category like BPM, Then back out of the playlist and go back in again, it says it's sorted by BPM but it's not but yet on the remote deck it works fine
I'm sure I've noticed this the few times I actually use them after a couple of drinks, but have always forgot or thought it was me!
What was the official pioneer line of reply. Looks a fairly straight forward issue to be classed as a bug that needs fixing
