When i go to A side on the cross fader when in 2 player mode it still plays both tracks at full volume. same when i go to B side....why? also, is there any way to play both tracks at the same time?

I've found that the cross fader only works after switching to "performance mode" first then back to "export mode". Is it supposed to be like that?
would still like to know how to play both tracks simultaneously instead of having to press play on track one then play on track two...
You can assign keyboard shortcuts to them to be able to start both at the same time, but the crossfader should certainly work without switching modes. If you start rekordbox from scratch, do you possibly have an audio device setting that's preventing it from playing properly?
i just reinstalled rekordbox 4 and am having the same issue with the crossfader...works when switched for performance mode then back to export but not right off the bat when opened. I'm using mid-2015 matchbook pro and only using the internal audio I/O..
also i just tried to assign both player A and B to the same key but its not allowing it...
You can't assign them to the same keyboard shortcut, silly!
I just tested it again on my end and found the same problem. Looks like a bug! I'll report it to the dev team. Thanks for catching that one. :)
sounds good no prob! thank you.
