Tags not sticking

Have been trying to move to use Rekordbox as my sole method to manage my music. I updated hundreds of tracks with updated artists, genre, label etc, all looked good.

I closed Rekordbox once done When I reopened rekordbox, all the changes were missing. I reloaded tags and the files repopulated.

The changes don't seem permanent, am I missing something?
