What is happening when your trial ends when you are playing?

Hmmm... you know I have preorder an RZ and I m waiting to come to greece. I can't find the console nowhere...! Anyway thank you again...!

Have a DDJ-RX on pre-order, will be shipping out Nov. 4th (presumably, according to the internet retailer).
My trial ends tomorrow and will be doing a gig tomorrow night. I don't mind doing a one month subscription,but that won't start until December. Any suggestions on how to get through the evening? My Serato library is now one month old as I have been using RB exclusively for the past 30 days.

Please email any recommendations. I hope my numerous posts to the forum outlining bugs and feature requests will allow someone at pioneer to grant me an extra week of use! Much appreciated!

Unofficially, you could use another email address to register another trial... but you didn't hear that from me.

This doesn't work for me. I downloaded the software but hadn't realised I'd started the trial a month ago. A friend has then lent me their DDJ-RZ for a couple of weeks and now my trial says it's expired. I have been waiting for the DDJ-RX to come out so I can buy this as the RZ is too big. I need to use the kit this weekend but now I can't without paying for a licence I don't need, as when you finally release the RX the licence comes with it. Is there anything you can do to help a frustrated customer?

I did, I have created a new account and when I select the trial option nothing happens. Grrrr

I just quit Rekordbox and re-opened and it said the trial has expired. So it seems its locked to the machine somehow. :( Is there anything you can do to help?

Im also waiting for an RZ which isnt available from my supplier until mid November and have tried creating another account and signing in with that but i still cant get another 30 day trial.

I've tried uninstalling the software removing all folder and registry keys then reinstalling. I get the option for the 30 day trail again but as soon as i log out then log back in again it says my trial has expired.

It looks like the activation.xml file is the cause of the problem. The first time you load Rekordbox it updates the file and add an expired setting. I've tried all off the following from another post but the file just gets updated again with expired as soon as you load Rekordbox:

Open the file named "activations.xml" with Text Edit or Notepad depending of their platform.

The file is located in the folder below:

Mac: /Users/[user name]/Library/Application Support/Pioneer/rekordbox
Win: C:\Users[user name]\AppData\Roaming\Pioneer\rekordbox

Delete two lines which start with "<init_done ..." and "<trial ...". If you don't have both lines, just delete one of them.

Restart rekordbox.

Make sure you input administrator's password (for Mac) / click Yes (for Win) on starting up.

Any help would be appreciated as i've had to go back to using Serato with my DDJ-SX until my DDJ-RZ arrives which after using Rekordbox DJ is a big step down for me.
