they have a file relocate feature already unless I'm missing what you are asking for here

SeguirRekorDBox relocate engine (Feature proposal)
Pioneer should consider working in a "relocate engine".
The "relocate engine" should be able to find a missing files based on file name and/or metadata (i.e., MP3 tags such as artist, name, label, etc.) and matching rate (i.e., assertion percentage).
The feature could present a list (sortable by matching rate) for the user to select a best match and update the reference accordingly.
Additionally, it could contemplate "folder relocation" for those cases when you move an entire folder and updating all files references to that folder.
This will help users to:
1) Easily finding missing files due to file relocation/moving/renamig.
2) Importing playlists from USB devices created on different RekordBox instances/CDJ and keeping them synchronized.

The current relocate functionality only lets you manually relocate (file by file) each of the missing files. What I'm requesting here is to add some "intelligence" to the process in order to reduce manual intervention to its minimum, and make it easier to port/move/rename files without "ruining" your playlists.
if you select all it will find all in one shot, not 1 by 1
That only works if the file name remains the same. I periodically run scripts that move and rename files and folders, so based on metadata (i.e., mp3 tags) it should be fairly simple to automatically relocate files.
gotcha, totally different then
