Thx for your reply i use ddj-sx2, could i record my files in mp3?
@Sam > Did you set the recording level properly?
No, you can't record in MP3, only WAV.
Well the recording level flashes red i guess all the way,i recorded a set the 1st 2 hours were fine but after that it started to record noise and distortion with the music, the knob of the recording level is to the middle but the gain level per channel of the mixer is set to 3 oclock
You have the channel gains on the SX2 all the way to 3 o'clock? Wow, that's a bit high. Are the tracks you're playing all really low in level or are you just in the red on the channel meters?
Basicly i try to keep the level to the red ,some songs are low level ,the 2nd time i recorded in this last update the distortion started from the begining of the set,any way i will watch it again in another recording set will make sure all the gains are in the right level and give back a feedback
When have you ever known a red indicator to mean something good? ;)
Aim for the first orange LED instead on the meters, and lower the recording levels so that the peak recording (with two channels playing and an effect engaged) is lower than the red section on the recording meter.
Yeah your right thx :),i will make sure all this is gonna happen and test it again thx again
