Rekordbox dj not working with 2000 nexus (wrong decks)

My setup: mac book air 13" early 2014 with os x 10.10.5, rekordbox 4.0 and 2x CDJ2000 nexus both with 1.21 firmware and directly connected with a LAN cable (no router in between)

What I did:
1. connected the 2 cdjs to the usb ports of the laptop
2. turned on the CDJs
3. launched CDJ aggregator
4. launched rb 4 dj
5. connected left cdj to deck 1 and right cdj to deck 2 from the menu of the cdjs
6. loaded two different tracks on the two decks
7. play the tracks

What happens:
1. the track on deck 1 (=left side cdj) starts pushing play on the left hand deck, correctly, but the sound on the mixer comes from the right hand deck
2. the track on deck 2 (=right side cdj) starts pushing play on the right hand deck, correctly, but no sound comes on the mixer. I expected to find the decks swapped but it is not the case.
Basically the cdjs answer correctly to the controls (tried to browse, load and cue/play) but the audio output doesn't work: only the output of the deck 1 goes out and it does it from the wrong CDJ.

I tried to reboot everything (computer and cdjs) and start again from scratch but I get the same problem.
By the way the RCA cables and the mixer are configured correctly, indeed playing with normal USB sticks prepared with rb 2.1.1 works fine.

I would suggest you go into the Audio MIDI Setup tool and re-label the outputs so you know which output is which deck when assigning them within software. It's easy and only takes a second to do.

go into the aggregate audio are and slide the cdj2000 from the left to the right or vice versa, they are set backwards in there

thanks BriChi. I had a look, i could not find this swap left/right thing, but in rb preferences, I found a drop down menu to choose the output device and there one of the two CDJs was selected instead of the aggregate device. Once changed to the aggregate it worked.
After a quick test I have to say that it is really poorly implemented. I used to think that the HID support for the nexus was bad in Traktor, but after trying rb 4 I realized that rb is even worse. There's basically nothing on the CDJ display, just the time to end of the track and the bpm. Traktor gives the low-res waveform and in browse mode you can see at least the name of the tracks and the covers.
RB dj with CDJ is pretty much useless, it's clearly a product aimed at controllers.

yeah, for the 2000's Rekordbox dj is kinda not made for it, its more for controllers. I wouldn't use Rekordbox dj at the moment, it doesnt add much when you have the 2000's as your controller
