SeguirRekordbox with 64GB Corsair Survivor
Hello,
I recently bought a 64GB Corsair Survivor USB 3.0 stick to use with rekordbox/cdjs. I formatted it with a tool to FAT32, which should solve the problem of not getting detected by rekordbox/cdjs.
Now rekordbox is able to synchronize to the usb-stick, but the cdj-2000 (& nexus) is not able to 'locate' the rekordbox files, and returns with a screen where I can select from the folders.
How can i solve this? I saw alot of people using even bigger USB drives..

Having the same problem :(
@DJ Hero5 > Interesting; @Liam Murphy posted a similar problem but when I tested it locally I had a problem with that drive in the XDJ but not in the CDJ. I know this topic is now 8 months old and I apologize that it was missed the first time around, but if you are still having issues with this drive and the CDJs, please let us know.
Also have the same problem here with corsair. Only Content folder and settings. No playlists. Please help!
@Kevin > Please don't post the same question across multiple topics.
Which hardware are you using it with?
Hello,
Using nxs2 with macbookpro and New corsair survivor.
I tried with other stick, same way of formatting, and I have no problems. Only problems with the corsair.
@Kevin > Have you tried formatting the drive to HFS+? Chances are you simply started using it in its default (FAT32) format, correct?
Hello,
I've tried every way of formatting in OSX. Unfortunately nothing worked. I alsmost so far I will throw it in the trash can...
@Kevin > As noted, we've had reports of the Corsair Survivor series drives not performing as expected in Pioneer DJ products. Our engineers continue to investigate, but at this time I can't guarantee there will be a solution. The best bet right now would be to use a different make / model of USB drive.
@Pulse So would you say that there's not real solution right now of a way to get the Corsair working? I've contacted the seller who sold me the USB for now anyway and told them your responses in a hope for a refund even though I bought the USB around 2 months ago haha. But I don't think I'll ever be buying one of these again after all of these problems with them.
@Liam > The problem is not that of the seller -- there's just something about these units which has a communication problem with the Pioneer DJ products. The engineers are working to find a solution but as noted, there's no guarantee that they can or will find one depending on what the actual problem is. Other than this incompatibility, they're decent drives.
