Yes and no... if you make changes to the locations / names of the audio files, they won't be matched on a subsequent database as the data is not stored within the audio file itself.
What is the problem you're having with the iTunes sync?
Is there any way or such thing that will allow me to export my memory cue data? Reason being is that my iTunes isn't synching up with Rekordbox 4.0. I've been having to import music using the "Explorer" and I've already created a couple playlists with memory cue points I don't want to lose if i uninstall and reinstall Rekordbox to see if it may fix my iTunes synching problem...any help would be appreciated thank you.
I'm using Mid-2015 Macbook Pro OS X Yosemite 10.10.5

iTunes sync isn't doing anything...when i click the drop down arrow then click "all tracks" nothing shows...this is a new laptop. it works fine on my iMac that has been running rekordbox 2.2.1 i believe. not sure if theres a share setting i need to adjust or something?
Have you allowed iTunes to share data with other applications?

Have you verified the correct library is being loaded by rekordbox (Preferences > Advanced > Database > iTunes Library File)?
yes i believe i have everything correct

BBCode is not supported, but I've got them...
i would like to just try to reinstall rekordbox and see what happens but at the same time i don't want to lose my memory cue points on my current playlist...i guess ill just have to take a screen shot and re do them which isn't too bad but i hope it will fix my issue.
unless you have any other suggestions...not really sure why its all not linking up...everything seems to be correct.
i uninstalled and reinstalled rekordbox 4.0, and when i reinstalled it all my music was still in rekordbox...? and the same issue with iTunes not syncing with rekordbox is still occuring.
So here's what I suggest... make a backup of the database by exporting (File > Library > Backup Library) and don't backup the music as well, since it's in the iTunes world.
If you want to fully remove rekordbox, you'll also need to delete or rename the two supporting folders:
~/Library/Pioneer/rekordbox/
~/Library/Application Support/Pioneer/rekordbox/
Hey what do you know, it works now lol. Thank you!
