@Yves > I don't know if your unit was returned to engineers for inspection or where it went to, I don't have that information.
I have asked the engineers for another follow-up but it's entirely possible it's still a hardware fault.
Hi,
When one fader is moved in Traktor the sound fades like it should.
When two faders are moved together, regardless the same or different direction, the sound level is jumping.
see video on http://www.liveski.be/pioneer/20150622_220857.mp4 Sorry about the bad sound quality, but you can hear it. It sounds like the faders are shown: jumping. When you see jumping faders, you get jumping audio. The fader(s) on the SX2 are moved on the video each time smoothly.
I've tested also with controllers of other brands without that problem
When you do the same with the gain knobs that goes fine. It looks like a mapping issue.
Tested with Traktor Pro 2.8.0 and 2.8.1 on Win7 and Win 8.1
Regards

How can I investigate myself to know if it's a hardware fault? The first 30 days after purchase the shop replaces each malfunction units. After 30 days the warranty will be applied but I will miss the unit for a long time a too long time. The shop doesn't provide a replacement unit.
Hi Pulse, any news about my question here above? How to find out if it is a hardware failure? When a Pioneer service engineer receives my unit he will probably say that nothings is wrong because he doesn't know the whole detailed background. He doesn't know what to verify. This weekend I noticed once that my DDJ-SX2 missed an incoming MIDI command to let the light burn for a CUE button above a fader. I never saw it before for several years on my previous older controllers. So it's not a Traktor bug. When switching again the same CUE button on, het light burned. So quite clear the DDJ-SX2 missed a midi command. The firmware version is 1.04
Hello all,
The CH fader related issue on DDJ-SX2 will be fixed in the upcoming update hopefully within this month.
Thank you very much for your patience.
CRM, Pioneer DJ
I seem to be having a similar issue on a channel fader on my ddj-sx, which is running the latest firmware, I'm also using Traktor, whats the best thing for me to do as far as i can see Pioneer won't do a firmware update on this as it hasn't been updated since May 2014!
There's an update coming soon to address this issue!
Is the update for DDJ-SX & DDJ-SX2?
Thanks
SX2 - the SX (original) does not exhibit this behaviour.
(Even though you note something similar happens on your SX, this issue is not the same.)
Ok thanks, could you advise me further on my problem i posted here a few weeks ago, had no feedback from anyone
Great Keiko & Pulse! Pioneer made their expected "deathline" of this month. Still 1 hour to go in my timezone ;-)
Thanks a lot! I will upgrade and test it on Wednesday.
I hope, together with a lot of other Traktor and 64-bit DAW users, we receive 64-bit Asio drivers soon. Maybe as a Christmas present?
I just upgraded to version 1.06 and I tested the faders and operating correctly. Thanks to everyone, especially to Yves V for his fantastic technical tests and Pioneer to fix but has been delayed 4 months.
