Future updates I would love to see
I would love to see Rekordbox future updates add this feature. just the way we add Cue points to a track and transfer it over via USB, it would be nice if we would be able to add Voice samples or beat samples to any part of a track and then transfer it over via usb to the XDJ RX

Yes your right, but i own the Pioneer XDJ RX, and i find it difficult to find compatible programs to work with the pioneer XDJ RX. plus it would be that much better to just do that inside of rekordbox. One less program to own or deal with

why would your programmes need to be compatible, you're asking to import voice or beat samples... make the sample and import it into RB like you would do anything else.... RB is a free music organising software not unlike iTunes and is not meant for editing tracks, i understand the own/deal with argument but RB is what it is.... id like it to put a forcefield over my unit to stop any drinks falling on it during my gigs, but it doesn't do that either ;-)

Ok i own the Pioneer XDJ RX, and i just recently purchase the Akai MPX16. the reason i purchased the MPX 16 was because I could record my voice samples to it. i was hoping after creating some voice samples or beat samples doesn't really matter. i would be able to connect the MPX16 to my Pioneer XDJ RX and implement those sound samples or vocal samples while I'm creating a mix (the same way cue points work) and record it into my mix on my XDJ RX. But i'm not able to do that with the XDJ RX. Maybe there is a way but i don't know how to do that if you have any ideas please share :)

Other dj software can already do this sort of thing like traktor, and it's compatible with the xdj rx. Always wondered why pioneer haven't gone down the sample player route yet, be a great addition to the product line to have a sample player over the pro dj link. Rekordbox is now moving into dj software territory, so would expect to see the ability to use and produce samples in future updates like other software.

Hey thanks i just checked out Traktor pro 2 it seems like it has a deep learning curve.I'm so familiar with Rekordbox i'll wait for there update to come out. fingers cross that they implement those features. it seems like when these company are creating these Application, ease of use is the last thing on their mind lol
