Rekordbox takes an age to read tracks on start up then doesn't respond

Windows 8 was working fine with last version

Can you give us a bit more detail as to what is meant by "takes an age to read tracks on start up" ? When you launch the program it's having problems loading the library, or the iTunes database?

Are you using v3.3.0?

It s saying reading tracks as it would normally when you start up as with previous version but it used to take seconds now take about ten minutes then once the little box has disappeared the main screen is a normal with no tracks loaded and the program isn't responding and yes I'm using v3.3.0

Where are you loading the music from? Is it a local source, network or external drive?

Open settings, go to the bottom of the View page and disable the high performance graphics, let me know if that helps it.

I'd like to try and troubleshoot why it's loading slow in the current version first. Can you please answer my previous question?

So you're not even able to get in to the settings? And you're telling me that the application actually freezes.

Yes it's doing my brain I downloaded rekordbox in another user as I thought it maybe a conflict issue but get the same thing

Did a system restore which took me back to a older copy of rekordbox removed that from the p.c then downloaded the latest version and it worked straight away
