Rekordbox DJ function type list

So i ran across the function type support list on the rekordbox dj site and I just had a few questions for anyone who might be in the know.

I own a DDJ-SX mk2 and i notice a few things:

Its listed as not having loop capture and slicer capture functions, and not having FX time adjust. Does this mean I will be locked out of these functions entirely if i move over to Rekordbox DJ, or will i just need to go to the laptop to access them?

The SX mk 2 is also only listed as having one sound color FX (presumably the filter?) whereas the SZ is listed as having 4 and the new rekordbox specific controllers are listed as having 10.

Again am I going to be locked out of the other 9 FX if I don't upgrade to an RX or will i just have to go to the laptop to change the sound color FX in the software more frequently?

@Duncan > I'm not sure about the loop capture / slicer capture, those may simply be as a result of not having the appropriate hardware buttons to control those functions. You may have access to them via the laptop.

The colour effects may be switchable via software, I don't have an answer to that yet, but it could be you are limited to what is currently on the hardware as the SX only has a filter whereas the SZ has 4 onboard color effects.

How has your experience with the SX2 and rekordbox been so far, especially regarding the points you mentioned above?

I am trying to decide, hard, if I should go for the RX and go full Rekordbox DJ, or buy the SX2 to and be able to use both Serato and Rekordbox DJ.

So your experience is important :)
