Rekordbox ios : accessing songs on USB flashdrive

I didn't thing the RX and Rekordbox has that feature, Right now i believe only the R1 has the feature and its not even Rekordbox mobile that does it, its called "Remotebox" where the iPhone can read the flash drive plugged into the deck

I do understand that this is now available on Remotebox (and was probably before), but this functionnality was also available on Rekordbox iOS. Why dropping it in the version ?
It was quite nice to navigate between the iphone / ipad librairys and usb drives (exported or main).
Is there any chance to see this functionality in an upgrade of Rekordbox mobile ?

You can still browse the library of the files exported to the iOS device, but not remotely browse the USB drive.

I'm really sorry but i have to tell you that you are wrong.
if you check on youtube, there are plenty of videos that show that you could access the songs on a flashdrive from Rekordbox iOS. This was available since Pioneer added the remotebox functionailty to rekordbox iOS.

please show the video because the RX does not work with Remotebox therefore the feature was not there for you to be able to see songs on the USB drive from your phone. . Remotebox is for the R1, not the RX

once again, this was available on Rekordbox ios, not remotebox !

when you clicked on it once connected to the player, and if you had a usb flashdrive in the USB1 or 2 port, it would read the songs.
@Pulse, if you still have an iphone / ipad with the old version somewhere, i suggest you try it and you'll see by yourself.

this is for the aero, but it was also working with the RX

right, its for the Aero, I have never heard of or seen this work on the RX, I could be wrong but I would think people would know this and it would be in videos if it was. there is nor documentation that it works, and if it did, awesome!

Yes, it did work with the AERO, but that was the only unit I was aware of it ever working with. Unfortunately if it has been removed as functionality with the RX, there must be a reason.

ok so i found a way to downgrade to the older version of Rekordbox ios on my iphone. And indeed, i have to apologize, the functionality was NOT available for the XDJ RX.
My mind must have played me... Somehow I was sure to have used it with the RX.

BUT, it would be a great add on if it was available :)

no problem, I almost went out and bought the RX cause you said it had the feature, I love that feature and its a shame its not on more players
