Opening a ticket with the engineers, in the meantime, have you run a scan on your computer for malware and/or viruses?
RUNNING WINDOWS 8.1
I just started using rekordbox yesterday since my xdjs came in. super excited ....until...
I installed twice and the tracks couldn't load.. it sort of worked on the third time, as I was able to bring the tracks/whole playlist to the software and analize it, this all happened late last night. I didn't do anything else since I went bed right after because it took me about 3 hours or so just to get to that point (I couldn't find a solution online)
when getting home today from work, I opened the software to see all the tracks there that I brought in last night, but then I try to load and it asks me to relocate. so I do. then I load and its starts all over again....
this is was basically happens:
the circular motion that occurs when the computer is "thinking/computing" shows up and doesn't go away. then, when I click anywhere on the screen it freezes and asks me to either wait for the program to respond or just close down. I've tried both options MULTIPLE TIMES, but eventually I just open my task manager and close program there..
I then reopen rekordbox and a window appears(I tried attaching/coping a snip of the window that pops up, but your web page doesn't all me to add a snip to these comments.. weird) saying this:
System error: the program cant start because MEPDBConv.dll is missing from you computer. try reinstalling the program to fix this problem.
so I do, and it obliviously does the same thing all over again.. I've been trying to find a similar issue online somewhere, but it seems like this a new one...((sigh)) HOPE NOT..
(you need to imagine coming home from a 14 hour work day only to arrive to and expensive ass system that cant work simply due to software issue on my desktop; when the whole idea of upgrading to this set up was to get away from the laptop/desktop and get back to mixing on just decks and a mixer.....PLEASE PLEASE HELP...I HAVE GIGS THAT ARE AWAITING MY NEW SETUP)

Ok, so sorry i didnt add to this earkier but i called geek squad to help me out and the took a while but was able to get to work properly but they disabled my wireless internet and also disable/turned off drivers and software and then it worked and , the guy that was helping out out said he doesnt even know what he exactly did.. ive been not been able to try it with the wifi on.... i dont see that being a problem ...
But ill keep you posted either way
