While using iPhone as USB device no waveform shown on CDJ

I can't see a waveform on my XDJ when i use the iPhone as my music source.

Is this normal because they all see to be analyzed.

Are you using the rekordbox app? If so, which version of the app running on which version of iOS and what is the firwmare version on your player?

Also, which player are you using? The subject line says "CDJ" but your post says "XDJ" but no model name.

Sorry for the delay, yes I am using the record box app version 2.1.0.1

I am also using a slightly older iPhone I'm not sure if that has something to do with it but it is a 4s running version 9.2.1

and sorry about the tittle they are XDJs using version 1.05

@lawrence > It shouldn't matter that it's from an iPhone 4S.

Does it happen with every track?

Can you select a song within the list, swipe it to the left, tap More and then on the pop-up menu, tap Analyze Track to re-analyse it and see if it will then appear when connected to your XDJ?

Ok finally got something to happen days later its working like expected (sort of) I am getting errors on loading tracks its saying media file is collapsed or missing (Error code E-8302)   (7630).

Also having a small issue with the website saying that I need cookies enabled but I am using Safari and don't think I would need to do that but still went and choose accept cookies from all website.. still occurs, can only seem to log in through Facebook link.

Just curious does record box app copy any music files to its own application or is it just running of the native music/itunes player in the iPhone? Have limited space as well and perhaps thats why I get such sluggish performance and errors?

The app DOES copy the music in order for it to be available to the players; this is a restriction of Apple's and I believe it's outlined in the app details noting that users should have additional space as the songs will be duplicated into rekordbox (mobile).

Media missing/collapsed errors generally indicate that there's a problem with the export (or in this case, track on the iPhone); the database is fine but the source audio file is missing or damaged.

Were you able to re-analyse the songs?

Yes I was thanks for that help.
So I can import from rekord box desk top app straight to iPhone to save space and not copy into apples music library at all?
thanks again.

but the music still gets put into the apple music app/player on the iPhone even though its imported through record box.. seemed to take up all the space on my phone quickly again too :/

Hmmm, I was under the impression music exported to the phone directly via rekordbox to the rekordbox app without going to the music app... since it's not through iTunes, that's a bit of a surprise.
