You are the first to ever report this issue and I've never hear or seen the hot cue change length simply because it was stored as a hot-loop. Are you creating the loop manually or using the auto beat looping?
What do you mean by "loop falling out"?
Hello everybody,
Recently I have noticed that, when I make a new loop on a cdj2000 nexus (live in a club) and assign this loop to a hot cue, the hot cue makes the loop longer.
Sometimes I also notice the loop falling out even though the yellow knobs are blinking.
Any ideas how to fix these issues?

Hi,
Let me explain the situation.
1. I select a track I want to play.
2. I make a 16 bar loop.
3. I hit hot cue and assign the loop to say 3rd hot cue button.
4. I play the loop through the hotcue (loop buttons are blinking and thus indicating there is a loop going on).
5. The track gets to the end of the loop and continues to play throughout the show rather than starting at the beginning of the loop. Even though the cdj is indicating there is a loop going on.
Again, this is not an issue I'm noticing on my cdj2000 rather I have noticed it a few times on a nexus in the club.
Also, sometimes I might record a loop of say 4 or 8 bars, and then record it to the 3rd hotcue bank which will change it to a 16 bar loop automatically. It changes the length.
Have you got the latest firmware on that CDJ? I seem to recall somewhere there was an issue with loops being created at the 0:00.00 mark of a track that would fail.
Does this happen with hot loops created at any part of the track?
