SeguirPositive experiences ?
Hi there, I read a lot a issue lately with the rekordbox Dj software. Well, all software have there flaws that are usually worked out.
As I need to change some old equipment, I was thinking to go with Rekordbox and DDJ Rx combo. Is the system mature enough? Can you share some great stories of your experience with it ? Happy customers will help me decide... Thank you

Former Traktor user here. I got fed up with Native Instruments nonstop bug-ridden slow-to-release updates to Traktor. The lack of transparency was also annoying, but what really turned me off was how their priority became shilling out new products and videos of famed DJs/producers using them all the while failing to address their current product line (software and hardware) with meaningful updates.
While there have been a couple minor growing pains with RekordBox, Pioneer atleast listens and acknowledges that there is a problem and they're fixing it–and more often then not, a fix is released in a timely manner unlike Traktor which sees an update about every 9 months...and update usually to enable Traktor to recognize Pioneer's new hardware.
I eventually bought a full Pioneer setup (XDJ-1000 +DJM900NXS/NXS2) and haven't looked back. The standalone use of Rekordbox (meaning, can be operated without a computer) is worth the price of admission.
I'd like to have an answer on the ddj-rx too. I'm new to DJ'ing and it s just a hobby but ever since week one I think i've made a poor choice on the ddj-sb2. I'm hooked and the no slicer option or beat jump with RB and the SB2 annoys me (I even posted about it here :) )
One might argue that the sb2 is more than enough for a hobby but it is a thing of value against cost for me and the ddj-rx seems to be the perfect companion to RB and a long lasting hobby because... i'm hooked :)
