SPIN BACKS ON REKORDBOX DJ SLOW

I've just checked out the manual for the XDJ-RX and it would appear that neither the XDJ-RX (in stand-alone mode) nor Rekordbox has the ability to adjust the spin back speed in their relevant settings. Which means you can't, at the very least, adjust one rate to match the other.

After just experimenting, with Rekordbox and Serato on my SX2 just, I'd hazard a guess that the spin back detection is implemented in software (rather than being a function of the firmware) as Rekordbox and Serato have different spin back speeds; Serato spins back much faster than Rekordbox does for roughly the same physical input on the jog (if you get what I mean?).

From this I'd venture that the software (or at least the playback element) for the XDJ-RX and Rekordbox was written by different people or maybe even the same person who, oddly, saw fit to give them different spin back rates. A setting in Rekordbox would be nice (at least then you'd be able to slow Rekordbox down to match the XDJ-RX in stand-alone mode).

Alternatively, are you on the latest firmware for the XDJ-RX? If not perhaps someone at Pioneer has noticed this discrepancy and fixed the stand-alone software to match Rekordbox?

I know there is no jog adjust lile on the CDJs. Everything is up to date. When I'm using the RX alone, they are fine, splid spin backs. It's only when it's connected into rekordbox dj does this happen. I use them a lot and it is a big deterrent from using the software full time for HID.

Have you tried changing the Vinyl Speed Adjust settings?

Hi, I 've the same problem here with my xdj-rx in performance mode.I'd like to adjust the vinyl speed but i can't, this is just not available, and by the way i can't do a slow brake, and then get an instant start. I can only do it in standalone mode with the vinyl speed adjust set on "touch", hope you understand, and now what can i do to get this feature in performance mode, thanks

I have the same issue as the above post. My vinyl speed adjust is greyed out. There must be another setting we are missing... can anyone help? This sure is frustrating. Thanks in advance
