Can't set cue in CDJ2000NXS

Hey guys,

there are some occasions where I load a track into the CDJ and the grid and cues are off. but the CDJ isn't letting set the cure in the right place.

It's like it is locked or stuck permanently off the grid.

It's really frustrating

Any thoughts?

Thanks for helping me with this issue.

Unfortunately I've already tried this without any success.

the issue seems really random too, which is frustrating as I can't pin down any one particular set of events that leads to it doing this.

Are your tracks properly beat-gridded?

Are your CDJs running the latest firmware?

The tracks that I've set the beat grid to are fine.

what's happening is I haven't had time to set the grids on a few tunes, and have just let Rekordbox estimate the grid.

9 times out of 10 it's way off. no surprises there.

this isn't always a problem as normally I can just set the cue and the grid within the CDJ. But every so often it's like the grid and the cue that Rekordbox has set are locked some how, and I can't adjust either of them. It also means when I art the track it will always start off tempo due to the wonky grid.

@Ian > Have you checked that the track isn't locked within rekordbox? It does have the ability to lock it so no changes can be made to the grid.
