DDJ RR - Firmware wont update on MAC

Hi,

My first post on the forum!

I have recently purchased the new DDJ-RR with Rekordbox and loving it already.

One thing that I have noticed is that my MAC Book Pro will not install the updates from the Pioneer Download site.

Only 1 has been posted to take, but when I download the file and go to install it with the controller connected it simply sticks at 0% and says “There was a problem, the update cannot be installed right now”.

So it appears the update is downloading ok, but something in OSX or other is preventing installation?

Any similar stories from elsewhere or proposed solutions on this one?

Are you following the proper update procedures outlined here?

Thank You, was my fault as did not put the controller into update mode in advance.

I hold shift and sync but I don't know I can't do anything I have new ddi rr ?? any help
