Ok, been using Rekordbox DJ and DDJ-RZ for months now and still getting glitches using Rekordbox. In the middle fo a mix there's digital distortion for a few seconds, like the whole system is grinding to a halt, then playback resumes. It's like there's a background process slowing the system down, but when I monitor this in task manager there's nothing else eating resources, it's maddening. I can't use this system anywhere other than at home, it's so unstable at times and would be an embarrassment in a live setting.
My laptop is running off mains power, has SSD, all drivers totally up to date, absolutely nothing else installed on the laptop, deleted EVERyTHING which can be deleted from Windows 10, power settings set to max performance, waveforms set to medium, there's nothing else I can find online to adjust any more....why is this software so unstable?
Glad I bought this using a credit card, in the UK it means your covered if goods aren't fit for purpose....and Rekordbox/DDJ-RZ combo is lovely, but definitely not a pro DJ tool.
Any other advice as on last push before I bin this and return it for a full refund and switch to another brand? £over £1600, waste of money iglitcheschess like this.
