Even better - store the music AND database externally and move them between computers without issue and the hassle of the backup/restore process to ensure the database is in sync between computers.
I have RB on my Mac, tracks have been analysed and some have been set with cue points etc.
My query is, if my tracks are stored on an external drive, and i connect this drive to another computer and start RB, would the same tracks show as analysed and can work on a few more in terms of setting cue points etc?
Basically work on cue points on either computer, will it show on the other?
Thank You

I tried it. Yes it can!
If the drive-letter of the external drive is the same, no problem.
Mind due, if you correct a file on 1 computer, must must backup the library on the one & restore it to the other.
So its not a simple case of plug drive in computer 1, work on it, then plug it to computer 2 and see the same work done on computer 1 there?
Correct. You must backup library "File -> Library -> Backup library" & store the file somewhere on your external drive.
Then unplug your external drive from PC1 & connect it on PC2.
Restore Library on PC2.
If you're edditing then on PC2, then do the same sequence vice versa.
OK thanks for the info. Might just leave it be and only play around with the tunes on the main mac.
Cheers
