Do i need to update to 4.1.1

If you're on 4.1.0 - maybe
If on a lower version like me then stay away from the updates (I'm on 4.0.8)

Going by responses on here, versions after 4.0.8 are crippled.

Havent had any problems other than high CPU usage  

4.1.1 steem to have improved cpu usage and it is definitely loading faster as well.

I think this 4.1.1 was a stability release more than anything. But I just have a ddj-sb2...

Anyway, if you still have 4.1.0 exe, instead of using update, download and install 4.1.1 on the side. make a backup of your database and copy at least a subset of your music (maybe a full playlist that you already have prep'ed) and point 4.1.1 there.

AFAIK you can keep different versions of the software (as long as you don't use the update function, at least)

If it works then just point to your regular directories.

Let me emphasize one thing one more time though. KEEP YOU DATABASE and MUSIC backed up REGULARLY :)
