Rekordbox 4.1.1 x86 vs 64bit
Hi Guys,
This is my first post, I have been a rekordbox DJ user since it got out, and today, decided to bite the bullet to purchase a License.
I was using version 4.0.8 before with no problems, I upgraded to 4.1.11 today, and although the installation proceeded without problems, the installed binaries itself appears to be 32-bit (instead of 64-bit), I was able to tell because it installed under Program Files (x86) folder.
I am running Rekordbox through VirtualBox Guest which runs Windows 7. I never had issues with 4.0.8 (this is the version I am running now but I wish to upgrade to make most out of the new features and stability improvements.
I hope someone could point me to a direct URL to the 64-bit build, the default link in the download page seems to be giving me 32-bit version (https://rekordbox.com/en/store/agreement/rekordbox_win.php)

Rekordbox is a 32bit program, Pioneer don't even make 64bit drivers for their hardware... to much contention from those of us who own such hardware and want to use it with 64 bit native apps. But that's an aside... The error your getting i have no idea about but there is not a 64bit build of Rekordbox. I'm running it just fine on win 10 pro 64 bit, so i'm guessing it's either driver related or the install buggered up. i would re install all my audio drivers, re install anything midi related u have as 3rd party programs installed and uninstall rekordbox, restart computer and install it fresh. hope that helps... I'm not from pioneer btw

Thanks for the reply Robbie, I found out the same day that Serato DJ, VIrtual DJ and Rekordbox are all 32-bit programs :)

I am running rekordbox on os x el capitan now, so i said goodbye to the issues with windows,,
