DJM-S9 Fader broke

Today the fader on my S9 broke from the steel stem so fader knob just fell off. Its 4 months old. Any one have the same issue happened to them.

upon closer inspection I have noticed the fader stem might have been grinding on the top plate which weakened the fader and also explains the paint chipping.
