I've got the master output (2x RCA to 3.5 jack) going from the DDJ-SB into the audio jack on my laptop. When i plug the audio cable into the laptop, there is a little pop-up saying that i connected a device to the audio jack, however when i want to record in audacity it records the laptop microphone, not the output from the controller. In the recording devices there is a device called "Line" and below that saying "2- PIONEER DDJ-SB" but it's USB not the audio cable. Any help? Sorry for my English, i'll try to explain it a bit more if you don't understand.
OS: Windows 7

I have an SB3 which is setup for serato lite. To record then have to upgrade to DJ Pro from serato , only to find out it doesn't record the mic only the Audio. This video helps with recordbox can we get one for serato Pro please?
Thanks Mick
@Mick > The SB functions with rekordbox whereas the SB3 does not, that's why the video was created for that product.
The SB family of mixers does not feature an audio input to the computer; the recording is done internally based on the DDJ controlling the software mixer. The mic is mixed to the master output. Should you wish to record or stream the mic as well, you would need to use a 3rd party audio interface such as an iRig Stream.
Could I use a standard Amplifier?
Or could I use a XENYX Q802USB Mixer
thank you for your feedback
Yes, you could use the Q802USB as your input to your computer to be used by the streaming or recording software.
