Also tried using the djm 850 for the output, which I am guessing it should be.

Seguircdj2000 nx2 wont control Rekordbox
Hi,
I have a brand new cdj2000nx2 but I cant seem to get it to control rekord box
I am also using a cdj 900 which connects perfectly. Both are connected by separate USB as is the mixer (DJM850). The cdjs are using a usb hub, but I have tested with and without and still have the same issue.
RB is the latest as of today. I have installed the aggregaor and selected cdj/xdj from the audio/settings.
When I plug the usb in from the 2000nx2 Rekord box sees that it is connected.
Link is selected and the screen says "Push to connect". I push the toggle knob in and it looks like it connects. The jog wheel lights up and the play/cue buttons light up when pressed. But nothing else happens. On the screen all is shows is "USB MIDI" in the top left and a picture of a cdj connected to a laptop on the right (image).
I have tried different cables. Wifi is off. Firewall is off.
What Im I missing. I had no issues with my old cdj 900.
Cdj works fine with usb stick.
When I plug in the cdj 900 I can select which deck I want but the 2000 does nothing? Help? Please!

never mind firmware update sorted it :)
Uuuurghh. Another issue...
When its in link mode, the big wave form is not displaying. If I press on the short cut button I can set the option there but it won't let me select it. In rekordbox I have tried all the settings under the settings icon to do with the wave form in rekordbox itself. Track info and artwork shows on the player fine.
If I use a usb disk the wave form shows but there is no sound. The track is playing but no output. No sure if these are related issues.
All tracks have been analysed with rekordbox.
Help again...! Please
I didn't think the large waveform is displayed when connected to rekordbox dj?
Didn't think this was supported yet, or if it will be supported.
Really, Thats seems a little odd. In this video I have seen on youtube they seem to have it going..

I've seen that video before.
They aren't using rekord dj - they are playing from a USB stick.
You are talking about rekordbox dj? If not then I've misinterpreted your original post.
Yes rekord box dj. Yeah I wasn't too sure about that video. The usb is in that deck but link is selected.. So not sure. It is so had to find any information on this. I been searching for about 2 hours. It just seems odd that the large wave length is not displayed. I would have thought most dj would rather look at the cdj screen than stare at the laptop.
The Link was selected to enable the players to share the one USB stick.
As for rekordbox dj, it's currently not possible to display the large waveform.
The CDJs are in HID mode when used with rekordbox dj and I don't know if Pioneer will release a firmware for the players to enable the zoomed waveform when in HID.
If you are LINKED, the large waveform will display. If you are using the player as an HID controller, it will not.
