I use iTunes :-)
Currently when I record a mix the DDJ-RB or should I say the Rekordbox DJ software records the file in WAV format, now this isn't a problem but is there a way I can change it to MP3 format so that the file size isn't huge??

I use iTunes :-)
I've tried to use iTunes but when I've changed the setting in Preferences to MP3 and then click OK so it's all saved and then go to the track, when I right click on the track the option isn't there to create an MP3 version for some reason :(
I don't know what's going on, but a 59minute mix is over 600mb! People aren't going to sit and wait for that to download unless they have a ridiculously quick internet connection!!
Is the mp3 option under the 'Import Settings' for CDs? If so, I'm not sure why it would show the 'Create mp3 version' isn't there. Is the WAV file write protected or read only?
Yeah I've changed the settings to MP3. But when I right click on the mix I done the option isn't there to convert to MP3.
I'm not sure? It's just as it was recorded using the DDJ-RB and Rekordbox DJ. Although I am unable to edit information on the mix such as "contributing artists" etc so it may be protected, but I have no idea why it's like that or how to stop them being protected! haha

Only three steps to do it:
What I have been doing is after i record on Rekorbox I drag the WAV file to the ITunes app on my dashboard. The recording will start playing in iTunes. I go to File in iTunes and go to convert.
