This issue has been fixed in the latest firmware released yesterday.

On some of my tracks (strangely only the ones with BPM ranging from 100 to 112) the active loop activates a very tiny short loop, that sounds like a terrible buzz on the speakers, instead of the normal loop I set on Rekordbox previously.
The tiny short loops then becomes a normal 2x the original size loop straight away when I press the "double loop size" button.
Sometimes I re-start the players and the problem goes away, then eventually it shows up in another track and so on.
HERE'S THE VIDEO

*Please notice that the current track showing on the video is on mute and I got something else playing because I was DJing at a bar and I couldn't let the buzz noise play on the speakers.
*XDJ-1000 running latest (and very very old, I should say) firmware
*Yes, I tried re-doing the active loops on Rekordbox but the problem remains

Also having the same issue. Thought it maybe an issue when rekordbox link used. Not sure if it has happened via usb but not had long or tested greatly.
I'll pass this to the engineers for further investigation and let you know when I hear back.
I have the same issue with some of my songs when I set a 16 beat loop manually within the last 30 seconds of the song. The song either stops or jumps into a very short loop. Pressing 16 again will start the loop properly, 2X indeed starts a 32 beat loop, 1/2X does nothing. It does not happen with shorter loops, so it seems to be an issue specifically with 16 beat loops within the last 30 seconds of a song.
I'm afraid I'm experiencing the exact same problem as the OP.
Also worth mentioning, I'm on the most recent firmware and experiencing this problem.
Cheers.
Any news on this? According to the email I got about the MK2, the XDJ-1000 is now End-Of-Life, does that mean this will never get fixed?
Sorry guys, the product team is still investigating. I'll post when I have more information.
Same problem here too. Any news from Pioneer?
